Let me paint you a picture: indie-pop songstress Reevah is back on the scene, and she’s dropping her latest single ‘Golden’, the cherry on top of her much-lauded debut album, Daylight Savings. But that’s not all – she’s also gearing up for her headline show at The Empire in Belfast on February 29th.

Now, let’s talk about ‘Golden’. This track is a journey through life’s ups and downs, wrapped up in a bold yet introspective message that urges us to savor every moment because, let’s face it, life is fleeting. Reevah’s music has always had this magical ability to capture the essence of the human experience, and ‘Golden’ is no exception. It’s like a warm embrace from an old friend, reminding you to stop and smell the roses.

According to Reevah, or Aoife Boyle as she’s known offstage, ‘Golden’ is all about finding beauty in the everyday. It’s about those moments when everything just clicks into place, and you’re struck by the sheer wonder of it all. She penned this track on a balmy summer evening back in July 2022, after weathering a particularly tough storm. As the sun dipped below the horizon, casting the sky in a golden hue, she found herself surrounded by laughter and joy. And in that moment, life felt perfect.

But Reevah’s journey doesn’t stop there. She’s been making waves in the music scene, supporting heavy hitters like Snow Patrol at a sold-out gig in The Limelight. Her single “Call Me Up” even snagged nominations for ‘Best Single’ and ‘Best Video’ at the NI Music Prizes. And let’s not forget her television appearances – her music has been featured on E4’s Made in Chelsea, Channel 5’s Harry Wild, and Sky Atlantic’s comedy ‘The Lovers’.

Now, get ready for the big one – Reevah is making her US debut at SXSW 2024 this March. It’s a testament to her talent and hard work, and we couldn’t be more excited to see where this journey takes her.

So mark your calendars, folks. ‘Golden’ will be hitting all major streaming platforms on February 29th. And if you want to stay in the loop, be sure to check out Reevah’s official website and give her a follow on social media. Trust me, you won’t want to miss this.
