Summer Inside – Suga Knuckle

Another Alt-Rock Anthem

Dublin’s Suga Knuckle are a force to be reckoned with. Formed while attending BIMM Dublin, the band boasts a dynamic musical chemistry and an unwavering commitment to creating upbeat and infectious tunes. Their hard work has paid off, with the band having already released four singles and a music video, each one showcasing their impressive musical prowess and garnering them a devoted fanbase.

Adding to their building repertoire of anthems is their latest track “Summer Inside” an explosive pop-punk anthem that is both high-energy and emotionally resonant. The lyrics tackle the theme of mental health, exploring the toll that loneliness and isolation can take on a person’s psyche, drawing inspiration from the band’s own experiences during the Covid pandemic. Lead singer, Cian Foley’s vocal work shines throughout the song especially during the track’s catchy chorus.

It’s no surprise that this powerhouse of a track has become a fan favourite, dominating the band’s live shows and earning a place as a staple in their setlist. With its catchy hooks, electrifying beats, and relatable lyrics, “Summer Inside” is a must-listen for any fan of the rock genre.
